Volterraio is the name of the medieval castle that dominates, from its stronghold, the entire Gulf of Portoferraio and the northern Tyrrhenian Sea.
At its base the Residenza Sant'Anna extends in a vast estate just 400 meters from the small tourist center of Bagnaia with its pebble beach.
In this wonderful corner of the Island of Elba, inside of the Residence Sant'Anna, are located the Hotel Locanda del Volterraio, a small 4 star hotel with 18 rooms, and the Apartments Sant'Anna, a residence with apartments of various sizes harmoniously integrated in the surrounding nature.
